CRN Magazine's Annual Report Card is in and Microsoft wins big in four major categories: Business Intelligence, Cloud Applications, Collaboration Software, and Data & Information Management.
Beating out either IBM and/or Oracle in all four categories, Microsoft dominated in the innovation subcategory for most.
In Business Intelligence, it was cited many enterprises utilize Excel and SharePoint enablign the integration with the entire stack. It comes as no surprise that Microsoft dominated the Cloud Applications category by moving its apps to the cloud in Office 365 and SharePoint Online. The Collaboration Software category showcases the success of SharePoint and Lync Server and its high scores in product innovation. |
